Stella Tipton is the Managing Member of Oak Mountain Law Firm, LLC, with more than 35 years of experience as a general practitioner, Stella serves businesses and individual clients.
With many years of trial experience, in both federal and state court, Stella’s mediation skills allow her to help those involved in litigation avoid the costly emotional and financial expense of a trial.
Stella is an active member with the Alabama Bar. She is currently serving on the Government Relations Liaison Committee (2023-2024). She previously served on the Insurance Committee and is a past recipient of the Continuing Education Award.
She completed law school at the Jones School of Law Montgomery where she received her Juris Doctor while raising her children and working full time. Stella started practicing law in 1985 and went on to establish Oak Mountain Law, LLC. Her practice covers general law and serves all counties in Alabama. Prior to opening her general practice, Stella worked for a decade in the insurance businesses helping protect families and businesses. This has helped give her a "hands on" understanding of business and estate needs.
Stella and her husband have lived in North Shelby County for almost 40 years. They have two grown children. In her spare time Stella enjoys tennis, kayaking and being active in the community.

Katie Hagood, a dedicated attorney with a background in Social Work, has a strong work ethic and commitment to her clients. Katie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with her bachelor’s degree in social work.
After she graduated, she worked for the Department of Human Resources as a foster care social worker before deciding to attend law school at Thomas Goode Jones School Law. Katie graduated from law school cum laude and in the top 10% of her class with honors.
While earning her law degree, Katie interned for the Department of Human Resources in Jefferson County, AL, was a research assistant for the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law faculty and clerked for Oak Mountain Law, LLC.
Originally from Fairhope AL, Katie and her husband, a native of Walker County, moved to Jasper, AL to begin their careers and lay down roots as they look forward to building their future together. Following Katie’s move to Jasper, Oak Mountain Law, LLC has established a satellite office in downtown Jasper to provide accessible and dedicated legal services to help the people of Walker County and neighboring counties. The Jasper satellite office welcomes clients by appointment only, allowing Katie to provide focused, individualized representation.
